Roughly 20 helpful patriots gathered together at the NCRC headquarters this morning to give up their day in support of Lisa Scheller's Super Saturday door knocking event. Working alongside with Scheller was John Merhottein- Republican candidate for Pennsylvania State Senate for the 18th District.
Scheller Super Saturday is an arranged door knocking event that the Scheller campaign holds every Saturday in Bethlehem Township, Lower Macungie, and Palmer Township. Lisa has been known to work tirelessly alongside her volunteers and promises never to expect a volunteer to work harder than she does. Scheller has indeed stayed true to her word throughout her entire campaign.
Children and adults alike helped stuff bags with literature, and were rewarded graciously with a delicious selection of donuts, coffee (for the adults), and a game of red light green light with Lisa herself (for the kids).
Both Lisa Scheller and John Merhottein spoke briefly, thanking the volunteers from the bottom of their hearts. The two campaigns are fully prepared for victory on November 8th against the Democrats.
Local Republicans were mostly receptive to the volunteer door knockers in Bethlehem Township. One resident of the 2500 block on 5th Street, was particularly happy to see the representation of conservative candidates in her neighborhood. Volunteers also offered to contact the resident's area chair for anything they may need, including yard signs.
